Job Description

Make an impact as our next Supervisor of our amazing Casework Team! This role will spend most of their time managing a dedicated team of case managers and providing program leadership to three key areas of case management: extended rent, employment, and extended case management. The Supervisor also works directly with some of Interfaith’s clients to assess needs, connect to resources, develop and implement plans to work toward increased stability or resolve crises. Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of case managers.
  • Design and lead three tiers of case management work: extended rent in partnership with Financial Services team, employment in partnership with Employment Services, extended case management.
  • Manage and monitor referrals within case management and client services to ensure seamless/quality service to clients.
  • Participate in on-going program development and quality improvement processes and data collection methods.
  • Partner with the Employment Services Manager to support shared work toward client employment goals.
  • Complete initial client intakes, assess client needs, and/or respond to crises.
  • Work with clients to develop and implement plans to resolve housing instability, pursue individual and family strengthening goals and achieve education and employment goals.
  • Facilitate client access to internal resources including emergency financial assistance, child care scholarships, employment services and others.
  • Support the social work intern recruitment, training and supervision process.
  • Other duties as assigned and outlined in the position description.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field (E.g. BSW, Family Social Science, Sociology, Psychology, etc).
  • 7 years of case management experience with individuals and families.
  • 3 years of experience providing supervision and support to staff (e.g. direct supervision to case management staff, program management and assessment).
  • Knowledge of systemic barriers and how they impact families living in poverty.
  • Ability to creatively problem solve and complete complex tasks.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and within a team.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work or related field.
  • Social work license.
  • 5 years of experience providing supervision and support to staff (e.g. direct supervision to case management staff, program management and assessment)
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Russian or Somali.

Schedule Requirements

This position is 40 hours/week, benefits eligible. The Supervisor of Casework Team will spend the majority of time working in our offices but a portion of the job can be performed remotely. Regular hours will be during our business hours Monday-Friday.
