Job Description
Job Summary

The Event Center Monitor will work closely with the Event Center Supervisor, being the onsite contact during scheduled events. Ability to work nights, weekends, early morning & late-night schedules and being flexible to adjust on short notice is important for this role.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor Event Center and building spaces during scheduled events.
  2. Assist patrons with Event Center needs, including audio/visual.
  3. Maintaining building cleanliness.
  4. Monitor building rules, regulations being followed.
  5. Assists patrons with all incoming inquiries regarding the building including: curling, crooked pint, par & concessions related questions.
  6. Maintaining restroom supplies.
  7. Opening/closing building and Event Center & responsible for overseeing keys.
  8. Removing trash and recycling.
  9. Monitor security personnel, outside catering companies.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • CPR/AED certified, or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire

Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong communication skills with a variety of people
  • Ability to manage, monitor and assist with a large volume of people on a given event
  • Basic audio/visual equipment knowledge, or willing to learn
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work safe, smart, and efficiently
  • Flexibility to work odd hours including very late or very early hours
