Provide quality administrative assistance and support services to the city clerk's office, focusing on duties associated with the administration of the 2021 local election. This position is not eligible for benefits and is a temporary role, starting as soon as possible through at least 12/31/21.
Two years administrative office experience, including providing customer service.
Previous elections experience in an administrative capacity, such as election worker, absentee/early voting worker, or other related experience.
Excellent computer and technical skills.
Must be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, be detail-oriented, meet deadlines, retain confidentiality, and work effectively under pressure.
Must be able to flex schedule to attend evening or weekend activities as needed.
Ability to physically complete all aspects of the position.
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationship with the general public, city staff, elected officials, state, county, and federal agencies, vendors, contractors and others.
Ability to communicate clearly orally, electronically, and in writing with people from all cultures and backgrounds.
Demonstrated cultural competence and comfort with supporting the city's strategic objectives for racial equity.
