JOIN OUR  TEAM  Interfaith Outreach is looking for a full time Development Coordinator! This position provides administrative and project support for the development team, will conduct prospect research, and support solicitation and stewardship cycles. The Development Coordinator is vital to keeping the team running smoothly--come join us!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Input and manage the timely acknowledgement of gifts and assure that all types of donations (cash, pledges, matching gifts, and planned gifts) are properly documented.
  • Coordinate special donor and volunteer appreciation and recognition, and enter notes in Raiser’s Edge.
  • Prepare accurate research on prospects and assemble materials for cultivation and solicitation visits.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of recurring appeals and stewardship materials.
  • Communicate with donors in person, on the phone, and by email.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, including First Class and bulk mailings to promote fundraising and community engagement activities.
  • Assist with in-house copying projects and prepare support materials for activities, events and meetings as requested.
  • Take minutes for Development Committee and Development Department meetings.
  • Support fundraising campaigns, activities and events as requested.
  • Support Interfaith Outreach’s mission, vision, values and commitment to diversity.

 

 

SCHEDULE  This full-time, 4o hour per week position is hybrid with a majority of time working in our offices and a portion of the time working remotely. Regular hours will be during our business hours Monday-Friday. Occasional evening and weekend commitments may arise.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.

Demonstrate solid project management skills, including critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive manner.

Exceptional computer skills including electronic documentation and record management, virtual meeting facilitation (Zoom), and software usage (Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Teams) .

Preferred: experience working with relational databases.

A commitment to advocating for people living in poverty and social justice work.
