Job Description

Provide customer service and assist with the operations of a busy outdoor water park. At this time hiring will be done primarily for the "Pool Monitor" position

Position is seasonal, from May-September 2022. Typical schedule is 10-40 hours per week which includes day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Pool Monitor:
• Assist with crowd control on pool deck and locker rooms.
• Pick up trash, check for maintenance problems, and perform custodial work to ensure cleanliness and safety of pool and locker rooms.
• Set up and take down tubes, umbrellas, deck chairs and other related items daily.

• Maintain lost and found articles and items.

Ticket Desk:

• Open ticket desk for daily operation/close ticket area
• Collect admission fees/ honor discount tickets/confirm season pass holders
• Count and verify cash bag and distribute appropriate change
• Count cash drawer at end of shift and record totals
• Operate cash register, keep appropriate change in register
• Count daily visitors, enter in book
• Keep common area clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned

Concession Stand:
• Serve as concession sales person to the general public
• Operate concessions equipment which includes- cash register, pop machine, hot dog cooker, ice maker, pretzel oven/warmer, etc.
• Assist with inventory of supplies and notify Concession Supervisor/Guest Service Coordinator when low
• Count money, distribute appropriate change,
• Responsible for ongoing cleaning of concessions area, working to ensure area is being kept clean
• May be assigned to clean locker rooms on a regular basis
• May assist in pre-season preparation and/or post season close down of concession stand.
• Prepare all fresh concession items on a daily basis
• Stock empty shelves (food & beverage)
• Perform other duties as assigned
