Lead and direct department that provides internal service activities for the city including human resources, clerk’s office and finance/assessing. Lead strategic planning for the city, including linking planning with budget, analysis and performance measurement. Coordinate and lead a wide variety of strategic management projects. Provide executive level guidance to the city on internal policies and practices, including how to ensure they are meeting our equity and civic engagement goals. Support other departments on projects; interact routinely with the public, elected officials and other agencies; and attend meetings as a city representative.
